Our Client
Recently, we worked with the architectural company Torrång Arkitektkontor located in Sweden, which has existed on the market for 30 years. The company can be called a pioneer in developing prefabricated houses with an advanced concrete element frame and advanced solutions that are still unique today. Currently, Torrång Arkitektkontor helps clients plan house extensions or conversions and prepare the needed drawings.
Project Goal
The goal of the project was to prepare high-end quality 3D renders to publish on the main page and update the house brochure.
The challenge and our solution
At the beginning of the project, we were requested to prepare 2 views for the interior villa in photorealistic quality. Here are the chosen camera angles by the client:After we started to create a 3D model for the project (you can see the clay version below), we faced the problem of the so-called narrow perspective. As you can see below in the previews, not many details are visible. For example, from the first camera angle, you can see that the fountain was closed just behind the chairs, but we couldn’t remove the furniture as this is an element of the interior design.
This issue is connected to the unusual construction of the villa itself, which has an octagonal shape. After we get this result, we decided to suggest more camera angles to our client to achieve a better view and show as much space as possible, so additional camera angles were suggested to choose from. From our point of view and experience, we believed that we can show a bigger angle and wider perspective, to make the visualizations even more attractive. Below you can see what our team suggested.
After our propositions and explanation, the client chose other camera angles than were initially planned. And here is how the final result looked:
Results
This is the perfect example of a situation when trust in the team of 3D artists and being open to absolutely new suggestions can give fantastic results. Viscato artists have wide knowledge about photography, and perfect camera composition, hence, this credence was worth it! Thanks to our team experience, we had an opportunity to improve the final result and offer alternative options, which helped to show more beauty of the project. Those are already published on the client’s website. Here is the feedback we got after our cooperation, and we are happy that we completed this task successfully.
“We are very satisfied with the service and that the possibility to make several changes during the process is included in the price. We also appreciated your suggestions on view angles for the interior views. They were very helpful!” (Ola Torrång, architect, SAR/MSA/)
