We’re excited to bring to light a recently accomplished project that we undertook for our esteemed customer, Stenbolaget. The enterprise encompassed a considerable array of interior renderings for an intuitive configurator on their web platform.
Our mandate was to produce a comprehensive collection of their product offerings, represented in a lifelike manner, with the aim to not just boost sales, but also to enrich customers’ comprehension of how these tiles could reinvent their interior spaces and infuse an air of luxury.
Our primary objective was to craft interiors that would resonate with the client’s target audience—those who favor a middle-class, quintessential Swedish style. The selection of furniture was also meticulously made to enhance the visual impression of the diverse range of tiles showcased.
Upon completion of this stage, we plunged into the preparation of all feasible material variations, guided by photographs provided by our client. Overall, we dealt with 25 unique materials, including matte, semi-gloss, polished, and rough textures.
The main challenge—and our central focus—was to accurately portray and mimic the real-world attributes of each material type. An additional vital task was to illustrate how the textures and their reflections might change under diverse lighting scenarios and orientations.
Having refined the physical attributes, we proceeded to generate all potential size variations for the showcased products. After applying some final refinements here and there, we were able to produce eight entirely distinct scenes, averaging four camera perspectives per scene.
These views encompassed close-up shots to underscore the high-resolution materials, and panoramic views with different light orientations. Consequently, we managed to exhibit all necessary color and size variations of the tiles.
Our ambition—creating engaging content for a website configurator—has been successfully met and is now fully functional on the client’s website. Its instrumental role in propelling tile sales has been remarkable.
With this project in the rearview mirror, we are in the final stages of another project for Stenbolaget. Our current focus is their suite of outdoor stone products, typically found in driveways, terraces, or poolside areas.
The benchmarks remain constant—delivering top-tier visualizations, photorealistic portrayals, exact replicas of the tangible products, and showcasing all plausible applications and variations for each category of our client’s end-users.
