We were contacted by Liloversum, a leading producer of children’s playgrounds in Germany. They needed to showcase how their products would appear in a natural environment. The agreed scope of work encompassed creating visualizations of their main products on a simple, white background—presented as packshot visualizations. Additionally, we produced 360-degree spinning panoramas of these products for their website, enabling visitors to fully comprehend each element of the playground sets. These visuals were also crafted for use in a configurator tool on the website, allowing customers to see how different items appear and visualize them as complete sets.
The first stage of the project for Liloversum involved preparing all elements in a 3D environment. We received color samples, material instructions, and the necessary elements in CAD format. From the very beginning, informed by this data and through a series of online meetings with the client, we were able to develop a clear approach for the project. This allowed us to deliver it on time, without delay, and at a highly competitive price.
In the second stage, with all the models completed, we prepared a 3D scene featuring a white background and simple shadows. This approach enabled us to present the playgrounds clearly and without distraction.
Utilizing this scene, we then produced the 360-degree spinning panoramas. These used the same environment and were easily implemented on the client’s website, as this is a popular and widely supported format with many ready-to-install plugins.
The final stage involved creating several natural environments where these playgrounds are typically found. These scenes included a kindergarten area, a park with trees and pathways, and a setting surrounded by multi-family residential buildings.
These environmental shots incorporated various configurations of the playgrounds, enabling use on the website for all necessary categories of playgrounds. This approach illustrated the products in natural settings without the need to produce additional 3D scenes for each.
With the visualizations prepared for our client, they launched a new website featuring all their playground equipment—including slides, ladders, and more. The site showcases the packshot views, spinning 360-degree panoramas, and environmental shots. These new materials have allowed our client to more efficiently market their products, saving significant expenses. Since they did not have to physically produce and place all the elements in real-world scenery, and with the models and scenes already crafted, they are well-positioned to swiftly and cost-effectively update the visualizations—should they wish to introduce additional color schemes to their product offerings and further enrich their website’s offerings.
