E-commerce Product Visualization - Princess Air Fryer
E-commerce Product Visualization for the Princess Air Fryer

About Project
This e-commerce product visualization project shows the Princess air fryer oven (a Smartwares brand) the way online shoppers need to see it: clearly, attractively, and in real use. We created a set that works from the first glance on a product page to the final decision to buy – all in CGI, with no photo studio and no physical samples on set.
Visuals built to sell online
Online, an image has one job: to sell. For this reason, we combined two kinds of imagery that work together on an e-commerce page. First, a lifestyle scene – a mother and child watching fries cook in the kitchen – that creates emotion and shows the product as part of everyday life. Second, clean product packshots that let the shopper study the design, the finish and the details up close. As a result, the page draws people in and then gives them exactly what they need to click “buy”.
Showing the product actually working
One of the biggest advantages of CGI in e-commerce is showing what a product does, not just what it looks like. Therefore we rendered food inside the appliance – crisp fries, vegetables, dried fruit on the trays – so the function is obvious at a glance. Achieving this with photography would mean real cooking, perfect timing and tricky lighting through glass. In CGI, it is clean, controllable and perfect every time.
What the project delivered
We delivered a complete, shop-ready image set. Specifically, the project included:
- Lifestyle scenes that place the product in a real kitchen and everyday moment
- Clean product packshots ready for e-commerce and marketplaces
- Food rendered inside the appliance to show its function clearly
- Consistent lighting and styling across every image
- Photorealistic quality – indistinguishable from studio photography
Why e-commerce product visualization beats photography
For an online brand, CGI is not just an alternative to photography – it is often the better tool. Because the whole scene is built in 3D, the same product can be shown in different kitchens, colours or cooking scenarios without a new shoot. Moreover, visuals can be ready before the product is even manufactured, so marketing and pre-sales can start early. Every image stays perfectly consistent, which keeps a brand looking professional across its whole catalogue.
Ultimately, this e-commerce product visualization set shows how considered CGI turns a product page into a sales tool – emotion to draw shoppers in, detail to convince them, and function shown clearly – faster, cheaper and more flexible than a traditional photoshoot.
This 3D product rendering for lighting project delivered a complete set of photorealistic packshots for the Winged Arrowslim linear LED luminaire. The goal was to present the full product family - different tilt angles, finishes and track configurations - with catalogue-grade clarity. Everything was created entirely in CGI, long before any physical photography would be possible.
Every component was modelled with technical precision: the aluminium housing, the winged reflector geometry, the micro-structured lens optics and the three-phase track adapter. As a result, each packshot captures the way light interacts with the diffuser and the fine engineered detailing of the fixture. Carefully calibrated studio lighting brings out surface depth and controlled reflections. This is why every render reads as a real, professionally photographed product.
One advantage of this approach becomes clear with lighting products in particular. Because the entire scene is built in 3D, each luminaire could be rendered in both lit and unlit states. The lit version is clean and evenly illuminated for marketing. The unlit version reveals the optic and housing detail for technical documentation. Achieving both states so cleanly is difficult and expensive with traditional photography. In CGI it is effortless and perfectly consistent.
The same 3D model also generated the full range of variants without a single reshoot: 0-degree and 30-degree versions, black and white finishes, surface and three-phase track mounting, and multiple viewing angles. Instead of staging dozens of separate photo sessions for every SKU, the client received a consistent, scalable image library. This is ideal for lighting catalogues and product families where the same fixture ships in many configurations.
The imagery was prepared for versatile use across websites, e-commerce platforms, product catalogues, datasheets and spec sheets, and marketing campaigns. The structured workflow also allowed for predictable feedback rounds and fast approvals. At the same time, it guaranteed visual consistency across the entire product line and any future additions to it.
Ultimately, this project shows how controlled studio CGI can replace traditional product photography. It offers greater scalability, a lower cost per variant, and full control over lit and unlit presentation. The result is a level of consistency that is simply hard to match with a camera.
Every variant from one model.
Finishes, tilt angles, lengths and track options - rendered without new photo sessions, so an entire catalogue stays perfectly consistent.
Lit and unlit, on demand.
Show a clean illuminated fixture for marketing and a switched-off version for technical sheets - both from the same scene, both flawless.
Ready before production.
Market and pre-sell a luminaire before the first physical unit exists.
Built for scale.
Ideal for lighting ranges with many SKUs, where photography would mean staging the same shot dozens of times.
Indistinguishable from photography.
Photorealistic packshots that meet the standards of premium lighting brands.
